Beards of Manchester; a calendar to feature the city and some of its hairiest inhabitants. I will be photographing the 12 best beards & their owners around the streets of Manchester. Exhibition and launch night at Common, October 21st 2010.

Shot Up North 2010 - 16th Sept 2010
Delighted to be able to announce my image "sunflower, six weeks" has been chosen one of the best 50 images taken by professional photographers operatting in the North of England. You will find the image in the SUN 2010 book, exhibited at Matt & Phreds and touring the country for sale as a Special Edition Limited Edition framed print.

Meeting today about a really fun project I'll be working on, raising money for charity. Launch & Exhibition to be @ Common, Northern Quarter, Manchester end of October. More info soon, once the cat is out of the bag.

rld record time for me, taken 6pm last night and on my site by 8.30pm! Wonderful moody quality of light amongst the raindrops.
Site Update/New Work - 23 Mar 2010
Have given the site an early spring-clean. Lots of new work in all folios, also added ongoing projects so things are really up-to-the-minute.
The Blog is still great fun to do & I must admit to a Tweeting affliction! Later in the year a site Shop might arrive.
Waterside Open Exhibiton - 28 Jan 2010
An image from my "shimmercity" series has won through to be exhibited at this years Waterside Open Art Exhibition, Sale.
The Waterside Open is a Biennial Art Exhibiton with artists from all over the UK invited to submit work. Visitors to the exhibition can vote for their favourite piece in the Visitors Choice Award! Nice review of exhibiton here.
